Low cost Flights into Ukraine

The number of airlines serving Kyiv Borispol and Kyiv Sikorsky airports from across Europe is constantly growing, and ticket prices are slowly but surely coming down.
The best recent news for travelers to Kyiv is the start of a “no frills” airline revolution, with WizzAir and Ryanair starting flights.
Remember – the key to picking up the cheapest fares is booking as early as possible, preferably a couple of months in advance.

Flights from England

Not only are flights available from four major London airports (Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton and Stansted), but there are also prices to suit every budget.

Wizz Air and Ryanair are the cheap and cheerful option for the traveller on a budget. Flights leave London Luton five times a week, with return trips costing as little as £85. Thankfully, Wizz Air flights might be cheap, but they are also comfortable and reliable.

British Airways is the luxury option for getting to Kyiv. Flights go from London Heathrow daily, with return tickets starting from £260.

Ukraine International Airlines is Ukraine’s national carrier, so if you want to get immersed straight away, you know which airline to choose! They offer daily flights from London Gatwick, with returns from £210.

Flights from the U.S.

Flying from the U.S. gives you plenty of options – many of which involve a stop in another country on the way.
There are too many different airlines to list here, but you can find a variety of offers from Lufthansa, Air France, KLM and Ukraine International Airlines.
Use a price comparison website such as expedia.com to make sure you get the cheapest deal on the dates you want to fly.

Flights from Germany

If you’re flying from Germany, there are a large number of good value offers.

Wizz Air and Ryanair also fly from Dortmund and Cologne, with return flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Ukraine International Airlines offers reasonable prices on flights from Berlin, Frankfurt and Munich.

Lufthansa gives you that added bit of luxury on flights from Frankfurt, Munich and Dusseldorf.

Flights from the rest of Europe

The “no frills” airline concept is yet to catch on in the rest of Europe, but there are plenty of reasonably priced flights out there.
The best way to find the cheapest ticket is using a price comparison website.

Getting from the airport

Getting from the airport to your accommodation couldn’t be easier. The simplest option is to book a taxi with us, and we’ll make sure a driver is at the airport to meet you when you arrive and take you directly to where you will be staying.
If you are feeling a little more adventurous, take the bus from the airport – the stop is just outside the terminal on the right.
It stops at Kharkovskaya metro station and the central railway station, and tickets cost around 80 hryvnias (about £2/$3).
